One Day at the Time

Today I am a much poorer clarinet player than I was a month ago. Even though I probably am a better musician these days. On the other hand, I get a feeling I have never been better at doing anything, than I am in this very moment. Technical knowledge may fade as time passes, but general knowledge does only increase.
And in the end of the day, I am saying this as the 19 year old girl I am. And I have never been older than I am in this very moment. And I have never ever been more alive.
