Imagine International Women’s Day

We’ve been able to vote for a hundred years, here on the outskirts of the world.
We’re able to pretty much say what we want, do what we want, and be who we want to be. Limitless, like we’re almost human after all.

Now, historically a rather unique position;
our voice actually matters in the public sphere.

How fun to be a woman, a girl, far up North, dancing in the snow, in the sun, in time itself. How lucky I am, there is no words.

So please take time to watch this piece by Eve Ensler

Because sadly, in most of our world, some people are still more equal than the rest. More human than the rest. It has always been like this, by all probability. But how things will change in a hounded year’s time, no one knows.

I know the Scandinavian women of the beginning of the 20th century did not foresee me sitting here writing this. These days we carry the same uncertainty with us. Still hoping, and fighting, for the best.
– Even though no one really knows what that is….

…You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one…

V-Day, Women's day and more
